(She/Her/Hers)
DPT
Over the 13 years of experience as a PT and nearly 10 years as a mom, Maggie has discovered her passion for helping women navigate their own bodies at all stages of life, but especially the passage into motherhood.
After struggling with her own postpartum journey and having to travel between several states to find quality and specific care, she decided this was a service that needed to be provided locally.
Now, Maggie is on a mission to educate, support, and promote optimal women’s care. She is eager to create a place where prenatal and postpartum care is natural, routine and available.
When Maggie is not treating patients you can find her hiking with her husband Joe, or kayaking and exploring with Paige and Tori. She also enjoys a good run, her new gym family at Crossfit Broadwing and the occasional moscow mule.
Maggie graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2012 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist with specific postdoctoral training in obstetrics and pelvic health.
She has owened Gaia Women’s PT since 2020 and also contributed to education of future therapists through Frederick Community College and Shanendoah University. She has taught courses to midwives and is expanding her community presence through events like bring the first ever birth fair to the panhandle region, and speaking at events and workshops to education women on the importance of pelvic health and community on motherhood and navigating a lifetime of wellness.
